25 Nov 2008 will mark a year of Malaysian Indians Awakening and Unity Day.

Let us all join in unity and pray for the divide blessing in the temples on that day.

Pls conduct special pooja and light up 18 ghee lights as rememberance of our 18 demands and release of all the Makkal Sakthi leaders held under draconian law.

HINDRAF would like to inform the public that the Prime Minister’s department had acknowledged receipt of our request to lead a delegation of 10,000 HINDRAF supporters and that the Prime Minister had been advised accordingly. HINDRAF call upon all HINDRAF supporters and all Malaysians to visit the Prime Minister on the 1st day open house at PWTC to make it a memorable day whereby each one of us as a citizen of this democratic Malaysia can actually see him eye to eye and wish him a Selamat Hari Raya and demand that the ISA to be abolished and release our leaders along with the others in the spirit of humanity and mankind.

This is an occasion on an auspicious day for all HINDRAF supporters and all Malaysians to come forward and voice your feeling without any red tape bureaucracy directly to the premier so that the moral and spiritual truth in each one of us as a rakyat can be heard by him directly in the spirit that is coherent with the creation of the original constitution by our forefathers.
HINDRAF urges all its supporters to come it their orange t-shirts and assembly at the main entrance of PWTC on the 1st day of Hari Raya at 11.00am.

HINDRAF invites all democracy loving citizens- come join us to inaugurate this Democratisation "Revolution" process by visiting the PM on the ;
1st day of Hari Raya, 11 am onwards at his open house in PWTC, Kuala Lumpur and thereafter
2nd day of Hari Raya, at his open house in Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang for the northern region.

Hari Raya open house is the only day the commoners- where the peasant, fishermen, labourers, technicians, engineers, doctors, lawyers would be able face him and look into his eyes on a one to one basis.

Let us all look into his eyes and make the demand to free Malaysia from the clutches of UMNO authoritarian rule. Let us look into his eyes and demand that he repeal ISA. Let us look into his eyes and demand the immediate release of all ISA prisoners. Let us look into his eyes and demand that he governs with humanity and public interest at heart.

This HARI RAYA open house is not a day to beg but DEMAND what justly belongs to all-democracy loving Malaysians.

Let us look into his eyes and make a forceful HARI RAYA wish- a wish to transform this beloved country into a truly democratic society equal, just and fair to all.

1. Fathers Day appeal

Objective : Conjuction of Father's Day, seventy (70) children mix of HINDRAF and other races will lead a procession to the Agong's Palace to present him with seventy (70) teddy bears as a Father's day gift. This symbolic act is to show that at least seventy (70) children have been denied the right to celebrate father's day with their fathers who are held as detainees in Kamunting under the cruel and inhuman ISA.
On this day, the Agong shall play the role of the father for these children as all Malaysians are his loyal citizens irrespective of their color, race, religion or following.

HINDRAF CHILDREN TO APPEAL TO AGONG (KING) FOR RELEASE OF ALL ISA DETAINEES CONJUCTION OF FATHERS DAY

Conjuction of the Father's Day , seventy (70) HINDRAF children below the age of 10 years will lead a procession to the Agong's Palace to present him with seventy (70) teddy bears as a Father's day gift. The Commissioner of Law Revision of Malaysia, Late Hugh Hickling when he drafted the ISA in 1960, it was pre-ambled in the context of organized violence ie communist during the Malayan emergency and afterward. In his 86th birthday in Kuala Lumpur in 2006, he did voice his frustration that he did not expect the law to be used against political opponents or those dedicated to non-violent activities.

These of course was echoed earlier by true leaders and Malaysian such as Tunku Abdul Rahman who defined the purpose of the act as to "be used solely against the communists and the immense powers given to the government under the ISA would never be used to stifle legitimate opposition and silence lawful dissent".
Tun Hussein Onn later stated during his time that his administration had enforced the act only with a view to curbing communist activity, and not to repress "lawful political opposition and democratic citizen activity".
Today, the society is in doldrums as the present government uses it to their own purpose without regard to public opinion, freedom of speech and above all a blatant disregard to basic humanity aspects ie education, freedom of speech, religion within our multicultural society.

The Agong, in his prerogative power vested in the Constitution is the flag bearer of our Malaysian society who had been continuously failed over and over again by the unfair and unjust governance of the present government for the well being of the Malaysian society.

The Agong, I trust will not remain reticent on the misfortune of his subjects and look over the welfare of his humble subjects irrespective of their color, religion, race and following to create what Malaysia should actually be.

Hi all,

Vwaishnawi Waythamoorthy would turn to 6 years old on 21st May 2008.
Conjunction to her birthday she would like to make her birthday wish from our beloved DYMMSPBYDP Agung.

Time : 10.00 am ( 21st May 2008) Wed.
Venue : Istana Negara, KL
Activities : She wish to give our King a cake, a bouquet of rose and her birthday wishes card.
She would be there together with other children.

Her birthday wish from our King is appealing to release all her Hindraf uncles and all other ISA detainees on our coming official King's birthday ( 7th June 2008 ).

Later she would also planned to give cakes and roses to all the Parliamentarians at the Parliament.

Hi all,

19 May 2008 is the mark 6th Paurnami ( Full Moon) from the date our Hindraf Leaders were detained under draconian law ISA.

This is an auspicious day as the Paurnami also blessed with Wesak Day.

Hindraf is planning for special Paurnami Prathanai ( Full Moon Prayers) in various location locally and globally at the same time.

Let us all be united and pray to God to seek His bless upon all our leaders and the betterment of Malaysian Indians in general for justice and peace.

The prayers are conducted as below :-

Butterworth Mariamman Temple Festival

The devotess and supporters are setting up Thaneer Panthal conjuction with the temple annual festival. It would be offering drinks from morning and provide lunch for 1000 peeople.

In the night, the Paurnami Prathanai prayers will be conducted and with Thiyangabam Mantra Chant.

After the Prayers there wil be candle vigil walk from Telaga Air to Mariamman temple, pls join for the release of all our leaders

Nationwide Protest for Urgent reference for P.Uthayakumar to IJN

Protest demanding proper IJN medical treatment for P.Uthayakumar

Hi all,
Please join the people force this Sunday 11-5-08 at various spots of the nation in demanding the Home Minister and Health Minister to immediatelly refer Hindraf Leader P.Uthayakumar to IJN for further medical treatment.

P.Uthayakumar whom have diagnose of mild heart heart during the detention in Kamunting was request for further medical treatment in IJN by his family and supporters since last month.
Memo and appeals were sent to PM Office and Home Minister regarding this by his family members but there was no response from both the office about this.
His condition has become even worse, acknowledge by his family member in the recent visit last weekend.
He went thru ECO test last Monday in Taiping GH and was told to refer to IJN for further test but later his was taken back to Kamunting and till today his was not refer to IJN !!

We have to show BIG protest to this ignorance government and HOME Minister whom 'playing' with P.Uthayakumar life intentionally. P.Uthayakumar and other Hindraf leader have sacrificed much for the betterment of Malaysian Indians, let us show our gratitude to them.
